Porcini Powder Cauliflower Steaks Oven Roasted


2 medium size cauliflower heads

1 tablespoon BeoHarvest Porcini Powder

3 cloves of garlic | finely minced

1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes

2 tablespoon olive oil

BeoHarvest Black Garlic Porcini Salt to taste

Ground black pepper to taste

Fresh chopped parsley for garnish


Step I

Preheat oven to 250C.

Step II

Trim the cauliflower by removing outer green leaves from the head and take off the stem.  Cut the cauliflower in half through the center lenghtwise.

Step II

Try to cut a 2 cm steak from the lenghtwise cut, repeat the process with the other half and you should end up between 4-8 pieces depending on how large the heads are.  Trim any florets not connected to the stem.  Place on baking sheet.

Step III

In a bowl, mix the black garlic porcini salt, porcini powder and black pepper.

Step IV

Drizzle oil on the cauliflower steaks and spread the mix evenly on each side.  Cover the sheet with foil and bake for 5 minutes.

Step V

Remove the foil and roast for 10 minutes.  Carefully flip the sheets and roast for further 10 minutes or until nice golden brown.  Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
